Rockmount Northwest is an individually designed, specialist resource,providing 24 hour support in a Residential setting.
We provide a safe and supportive environment for people with a mental illness diagnosis who may also have a mild to moderate learning disability. This environment enables people to rehabilitate and recover to optimal functioning, within the limitations of their illness and ability.
We carry out a robust and detailed assessment of need at point of referral, in collaboration with the individual being referred, professionals currently involved, families and significant others,. This ensures that we are able to plan the correct level of support to meet the identified needs of the person.
We are committed to development of our staff to ensure they are appropriately skilled and competent to meet the needs of our complex service users in a confident and safe manner.
Rockmount is situated in Rishton near the towns of Blackburn and Accrington in East Lancashire. We are a short drive from the M65 either exit at Junction 6 or 7.
We have ground floor accommodation available for people who have this assessed need.
Each person has their own room which can be personalised to their own preference.
