We have been involved with the Healthy Heart programme who have been visiting us on a weekly basis to help service users understand why keeping healthy is important.

We support service users to access a a wide variety of community based activities that includes social, leisure and occupational based activities. We have had nights out to shows and cabaret nights at local hotels and regularly access events at King Georges Hall in Blackburn.

We aim to support our Service Users to become valued members of the local community and have links with the Canal and River trust and Piggy Park allotments where we now have our own plot.  We currently have several service users who are actively involved in this project.

All service users are supported to choose, plan and book an annual holiday of whatever duration they are able to manage, ranging from single days out to 2 weeks abroad.

Its great to see people from Rockmount out and about in Rishton. Staff are always polite and show a caring attitude when supporting them with shopping and visiting local cafes.

A healthcare professional that the CQC spoke with said; "I have nothing but praise for the placement and would definitely recommend it." Head Office Relocation
