October/November 2016

Now that Halloween and bonfire night celebrations are over we are well in the swing of preparing for Christmas even though its a few weeks off yet. We like to make sure we use every opportunity to celebrate in style.

We have booked our party at Rishton Cricket club and are having an 80s disco theme as this was the most popular when we asked the service users for their vote.

All service users who wished to have been supported to go through the Blackpool lights, with the mandatory fish and chip supper on the way home. One person enjoyed an overnight stay to ensure she made the most of the occasion.

Recruitment is ongoing as some of our staff have left due to illness and acquiring other jobs which are more office hours. we wish them well.

3 service users are currently being supported to holiday in warmer climes with a week in Spain.

One of the ladies has been supported to the ballet as this is identified as something she enjoys. We hope she wants us to plan a few more now she has been .

One of the service users is currently being supported to repatriate back to Bury as he has expressed a wish to be nearer his family, hopefully this will be a success.

We have undergone our CQC inspection this month and are currently awaiting the report.
